The briefing strip
The tiles under a fresh chat: what's due next, your list, quick checks, live updates.
On an untouched chat you get a small grid of tiles under the input bar. It's a glance, not a dashboard you have to manage.
- Due next — your nearest Canvas deadlines, capped so it never becomes a wall.
- Your list — open tasks, with a count of what's done.
- Quick checks — questions you were asked and haven't answered yet.
- Live updates — replies that finished while you were in another chat.
A dot on a tile means something new since you last looked. Tapping a deadline opens a detail panel with the course and points, and offers to hand it straight to DueFirst.
